ELZORVAN Table — where the household reports for dinner
The Cloche runs the middle of the table: tureens with ladles that fit, platters scaled in honest centimetres, alzatas lifting the fruit above the argument — porcelain, silver and crystal mixed by the house rules.
The kiln rooms fire porcelain at 1,400 degrees until it rings; painters then lay cobalt and gilt by brush, plate by plate, signing the underside of every dozen. Crystal is mouth-blown and hand-cut on stone wheels, annealed overnight, and rung once at the bench — a clear note is the works' idea of a signature.

Care
Porcelain with gilt edges washes by hand — dishwashers dull gold in a hundred cycles. Everyday whites tolerate the machine on glass cycles at 50 degrees.
Stack plates with the felts provided; hairline crazing on antiques is history, on new pieces a bench matter — call us either way.
Questions, Answered
Is the gilt dishwasher-safe?
No — gold and dishwashers are enemies by chemistry. Gilt-edged pieces wash by hand in minutes; the everyday whites in the same services take the machine at 50 degrees. Each listing states which.
Do canteens come with a chest?
Every silver canteen ships in its fitted oak chest with baize rolls and an anti-tarnish cloth; the chest carries a brass plate ready for engraving at the monogram atelier.
The ELZORVAN Promise
The house keeps open stock: service pieces, lids, knobs and trimmings stay orderable for fifteen years, and our bench re-tins copper, re-silvers flatware and re-oils oak on the honest schedule.
