The metal shop works the old sequence: copper spun to 2.5 millimetres and tinned by hand over open flame, cast iron poured and enamelled twice, blades forged, ground and honed to a stated angle. Care
Silver loves use above all storage: pieces handled weekly barely tarnish. Wash by hand, dry at once, and keep the canteen's anti-tarnish cloth closed when the household travels.
Polish twice a year with the house paste — never dips, which strip the depth from the chasing.
