ELZORVAN Atelier — the cook's instruments
Knives are instruments before they are tools; the Konvice is tuned that way — paring to slicing in honest gradation, a bench that regrinds and rehandles for life, and steel chosen for the whetstone, not the drawer.
The metal shop works the old sequence: copper spun to 2.5 millimetres and tinned by hand over open flame, cast iron poured and enamelled twice, blades forged, ground and honed to a stated angle. Every pan is weighed, every lid lapped to its pot, and every piece struck with the house mark only after the bench has cooked on its twin.

Care
Carbon blades patina blue-grey with use — that is seasoning, not neglect; wipe dry and oil monthly. Stainless asks only for dryness and respect.
Our bench regrinds chips, rehandles cracked scales and returns the knife with a fresh edge card — knives are for grandchildren too.
Questions, Answered
Can the bar cart be configured?
Rails, glass racks and bottle wells are chosen at order; the listing shows the honest options. Engraving on the top rail is the monogram atelier's five-minute favourite.
Do blocks come sized to the knife suites?
Yes — every block and station lists which suites it seats, edge-down and finger-safe. Buying suite and block together earns the atelier's fitting at no charge.
The ELZORVAN Promise
Every ELZORVAN piece states its materials as contract, not poetry: copper gauge in millimetres, porcelain firing in degrees, linen weight in grams per square metre — printed on the card in the box and honoured on the bench for fifteen years.
