The Kovarna is the drawer the family argues over in wills: sterling or heavy hotel plate stated piece by piece, place settings counted honestly with the serving pieces included, all seated in a fitted oak chest with baize rolls.
The metal shop works the old sequence: copper spun to 2.5 millimetres and tinned by hand over open flame, cast iron poured and enamelled twice, blades forged, ground and honed to a stated angle. Every pan is weighed, every lid lapped to its pot, and every piece struck with the house mark only after the bench has cooked on its twin.

Care
Eggs, salt and rubber bands are silver's quiet enemies; rinse promptly after both breakfast and picnics. Store flatware in its baize rolls, hollow-ware under cloth.
Re-plating and dent-raising are bench services with stated fees — the canteen is meant to reach its second wedding.

Do canteens come with a chest?
Every silver canteen ships in its fitted oak chest with baize rolls and an anti-tarnish cloth; the chest carries a brass plate ready for engraving at the monogram atelier.
