ELZORVAN Hearth — the rooms' quiet jewellery

The Len is dinner's oldest lighting scheme: cast candelabra weighted until gestures can't topple them, arms in one finish across the suite, and sockets sized to the dripless dozens in the accessories book.

The metal shop works the old sequence: copper spun to 2.5 millimetres and tinned by hand over open flame, cast iron poured and enamelled twice, blades forged, ground and honed to a stated angle. Every pan is weighed, every lid lapped to its pot, and every piece struck with the house mark only after the bench has cooked on its twin.

Care

Eggs, salt and rubber bands are silver's quiet enemies; rinse promptly after both breakfast and picnics. Store flatware in its baize rolls, hollow-ware under cloth.

Re-plating and dent-raising are bench services with stated fees — the canteen is meant to reach its second wedding.

Is the silver solid or plated?
Stated per piece: solid sterling where marked, heavy hotel plate where sensible for candelabra and trays. Both re-polish and re-plate on our bench; neither is ever a mystery alloy.

How do I hang a large mirror?
Every mirror ships with rated fixings for masonry and stud walls, plus a stated weight. White-glove delivery includes hanging, levelling and the step back to admire — say the wall and we bring the drill.
