The Nedele makes the bed a destination: stone-washed sheeting around 165 grams, duvets and shams counted honestly, sizes from the Czech, German and English books, and stated dimensions that survive the wash.

Linen is sold by weight as well as by name: grams per square metre printed on the card, because softness is a fact before it is a feeling.

Care

Linen washes at 60 for whites, 40 for colours, and prefers line-drying and a hot iron while damp — it grows softer every wash for thirty years. Cashmere washes cold by hand, dries flat, and rests folded, never hung.
