ELZORVAN Atelier — the cook's instruments
The Soupiere is where knives are welcome: end-grain oak on drawbored legs, a top that scrubs true and sands back to new, and knife storage built in edge-down where fingers never wander.
Every piece is assembled once in the works, levelled, photographed and then prepared for the journey. Drawers run on waxed oak, doors close on brass, and the underside carries the maker's chalk and the house's plate — furniture built with grandchildren in mind, and stated so in the warranty.

Care
Keep solid wood a metre from radiators and out of noon sun; wood moves with the seasons and forgives households that remember it is alive. Breadboard ends may proud a millimetre in January — that is engineering, not error.
Hinges take a drop of oil yearly; drawers a candle-stub of wax on the runners. Everything else is decades.
Questions, Answered
What steel are the knives?
Forged high-carbon stainless or true carbon steel, stated per suite with hardness and edge angle on the card. Handles are riveted walnut or oak; nothing is glued to hope.
Do blocks come sized to the knife suites?
Yes — every block and station lists which suites it seats, edge-down and finger-safe.
